This is the only house we have ever built. First we found the land then we found the builder because we liked his house. He mentioned he had a mate and that’s how we found NAS Design & Associates. We had all sorts of ideas emu picked from the web, TV shows, magazines and things we observed as we drove around. Anh started a listening process with us and then made suggestions based on what he heard. A very enjoyable way of doing things. At a good steady pace a design emerged that reflected what we were after but had Anh’s flair. We were ready to go but then he surprised us by doing one final “tweak” which lifted the design to something extraordinary. Anh has an amazing sense of the totality of what a design is – both external and internal. His attention to detail and simplicity made dealings with all the trades and fittings and interior suppliers a relaxing task. He worked with us on materials, colours, themes and interior layouts. The DA was approved in 9 working days - unexpected and truly amazing. He worked with the builder and us in an interconnected manner throughout. Our house is the talk of the town where we live. It is photographed from the street often.
